After visiting Cabo Girão we drive through narrow paths filled with vineyards, chestnut and cherry trees towards the mountains from where we enjoy breathtaking views over the small village of Curral das Freiras.

Then we start our dizzying descent to Camara de Lobos, where we can admire the colourful small fishing boats. Before returning to Funchal, there is still time to taste the nectar produced by one of the oldest wine cellars or the famous "poncha" from the popular fisherman around this village.
